It is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. the host, Fiona, is both available and unobtrusive, ensuring a comfortable stay. the cottage itself is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a comfortable bed, clean dishes and cutlery, and a TV. the kitchen is clean and has a kettle and microwave. the surrounding countryside offers beautiful scenery and direct access for outdoor activities.

While the WiFi and phone connections may be unreliable due to the rural location, this is to be expected and shouldn't be a critical consideration in choosing this cottage.

Comfy bed & hot shower! The bed in our room was so comfortable, we had the best night's sleep. And the hot shower was a blessing after a long day of exploring. The towels provided were fluffy and fresh. , the location was amazing! It was surrounded by beautiful scenery and we enjoyed stunning views from the picnic bench nearby.

The sitting area was quite small with only a two-seater sofa, could have used an armchair or larger sofa. We had some issues with the hot water and shower, with water going from very hot to very cold and a leak in the electric shower.
